There are a variety of plug-ins out there for Soundforge 4.5 which may be
able to almost completely take the trumpet sound out. I'm not sure what it
is called, but there is one which enables you to isolate and remove any
sound that is panned entirely to the middle. First, though, try playing with
the EQ settings on whatever sound program it is you use. A trumpet will
probably be in the 2k-4k range. Regardless of what program you have, it will
be nearly impossible to eliminate the sound entirely, but if you're lucky,
you just might be able to quiet it enough that it will loop alright. I think
it'd probably be a lot easier to just choose a different loop...
Good luck,

got a trumpet in it which makes it sound bad looped. Is there some way I can
take just this particular sound out?
