You are looking for something along the lines of an
isolator or filter. Some software may have this or
there is hardware that can be used. Depending on the
type of sound, it can be very difficult to isolate
without capturing/removing other sounds as well.

We have a filter/isolator in the studio and can try
review the .WAV and see what we can remove for you.
I'm just not sure it will produce the results you are
looking for without harming the overall sound.
