Subject: | FLASH: collisiondetection with irregular shapes??? |

Hello,
I'm making a kind of racegame in flash and i was wondering if anyone could help me out.
I have made a road that moves across the screen, but i have a problem on how to check if the car is off the road or not.
For the moment my road consists of different pieces that scroll down following eachother, same thing as the Yugop menu.
Maybe there's a better way to make the road move across the screen??
I tried the methods that John gave us but they are not accurate enough. I was wondering if there is someone who knows how to
check collisions with curved shapes.
Or is there a method to use some kind of list of values and check the position of the car against that??
Please help me out.
Thanks
