A frame action to loop a sound N number of times will be carried out to the
end unless there is a subsequent action either to stop all sounds or to
stop the specific sound that is looping; in the latter case, you apply the
sound just as you did the first time, but set Sync to Stop, and # of loops
is irrelevant.

Because Flash sometimes has trouble executing an action in a frame where it
has just arrived via TellTarget or Go To. Failure to play a sound in such a
frame is a common occurrence. Depending on your system, it may also take a
moment for a sound to start playing even though the Flash movie has loaded.
You might consider it a bug; I just consider it evidence that
Flash is only human :-).
