Hi,
It's possible to read from a txt file in your
flash movie. Use the load movie action, load
variables into location.
Type in your file.txt file in the URL field.
Place the file.txt in the same folder.
Place a text filed with the text field button
pressed (ab|)
Name the Variable in the properties tab. For
instance' variable'
In the file.txt type 'Variable=' in the first line
(and first character) of the file (important).
That should do it
Now, I,ve succeeded loading a variable text from a
database and using this text in my flash file.
Is there anyone working with Allaire ColdFusion
developing this kind of applications too?
I'm curious about the possibilities of combining
Flash 4 and ColdFusion. I think it's possible to
make database generated buttons etc.
Maybe even a chatbox application.
Rob
