FLASH: sorta ot: Flash to Illustrator

was wondering if there are any illustrator peeps out there


somewhat new to illustrator, but

i am bringing an illustration drawn in flash into illustrator by saving to

ai. this is to be incorporated with other artwork in illustrator, but i

noticed any gradients with alpha get converted to solids. then i noticed

there doesn't seem to be any way to set alpha in illustrator. is there?


i have masked gradients acting as light sources, and the effect makes the

illustration, is there any way to pull this off in illustrator?
