what about lingo capabilties?
Thats a big plus for director.

2 things I have noticed that are easy to do in director, but not in
flash;
- volume control for sound
-scrolling text with scroll bars
Well, I have seen recently some clever people have figured out how to do
these things in flash, although only by using workarounds that looked
like a real bitch to implement.Lingo lets you do a proper volume control
for shockwave very easily, for instance.
Just a bit of anecdotal input there....
