Subject: | FLASH: Centering objects/text |

Thank you Sienna, John, and Joe for your replies. I will try out those suggestions for tracing bitmap
images.
Another small, stupid question though....
Usually, when I make an image, or type some text and make it a symbol, I'll Cut and Paste it to center it
on the work area...and usually it will center on the + mark. But for some reason, it's giving me an
attitude and not centering properly. If I move the scroll bar up (or down) away from the + mark, it
centers to however the page is positioned. I now have to manually go to Window -> Inspectors -> Object and
change the x y coords to 0,0. I tried checking the "Use Center Point" box and set & apply them to 0,0, but
when I go back to the work area and cut and paste again, it 'forgets' the coords and changes them to
something like x 6.0 and y -7.5. Do I have something 'set' wrong?! Help!!! ;-)
Thanks again,
Erich
