FLASH: Movie clip - button

I think this has been brought up before but I can't

find an answer and I'm not even sure what the problem

is.


I have buttons on my main timeline that talk to an

asp/database backend, no problem.  But now, when

trying to move one of the buttons into a movie clip,

it's not working.  I figured out how to get the text

value while in the movie clip using /:variable 


But now, for the button action, I've tried several

things and it's not working.  Here's what I have for

the button action in the movie clip:


On (Release)

      Set Variable: "myrecordnumber" = recordnumber1

      Load Variables ("search3.asp", "", vars=GET)

      Go to and Play ("process2")

End On



Everything else is on the main timeline.  Is there a

special way I should be referencing the go to and

play?  I've tried /:process2 and ../process2


What am I missing?  I think/hope this is the problem. 

Anyone have an idea?
