My site is about the game of Checkers.

Making games/problems, with moves list, variations, and notes and 

annotations make a large file. Especially when one has 100 games 

and a 100 problems. (about 6.0MB)

As mentioned in previous e-mail, ws-ftp times out at about 2.6 MB 

on my 166 Pc, 48 Ram, if I upload exe's. 

To break them down into smaller files (3) they become about 

2.4MB each. 


However, I zipped them up and uploaded it as 1 .exe (zipped) and 

ws-ftp uploaded it fine. (6.2MB) 

It took 2 1/2 hours at 6-7 KBps (fluxuates. At times, this is better.) .

But the zip is much better than uploading the .exe, it seems to me.
