You can preload a sound by creating a keyframe, going into Frame
Properties > Sound, selecting the sound (you must first import it for it to
be available) and choosing Stop as the sync type. Assuming you give it
enough time to load, it should start anywhere that you designate it to
start (Start or Event sync type) in a later keyframe. Or just choose Stream
for the sync type and Flash will force the animation to sync to the sound
(dropping animation frames to keep up, if necessary).
