I just did it today: DirectX 7.0a gives you no problem. Works great with ATI
RAGE 128 32MB and ATI2DRAA.DRV

i need to upgrade to directx7 from the current 6.1a. to test the new rage
driver as recommended at

problem, since the uninstall is very hassliffied.
