It's possible in at least some cases... as Michael notes you can pull in a
numbered image sequence.
But please remember that SWF is designed for optimized delivery, rather
than as a catch-all media container... there are certainly some 3D
renderings that would be unhappy when crammed into a SWF.
Shockwave has a much faster realtime bitmap compositing engine, and has
runtime drawing abilities as well... for many applications this may be a
more appropriate solution.
In case you're new to SWF, and are coming from a digital type of
background, then the following might help in approaching this new file
format:
