Thanks - this is nice to know :) I'm dying of curiosity about flash 5, along
with everyone else.

I think sometime down the road it might offer more interface with photoshop,
which would be nice (I'd say with adobe products - but flash already works
beautifully with illustrator) and rasters, but atm it sounds like these are
causing more problems than they're worth.

It might be that it's faster/easier to create some small effects in LM - if
there were quite a few cases where this was true that might make it useful.
Also, it might integrate with html (various xml options that aren't there
yet?).

All of those indicate to me that it's worth keeping an eye on, though I
haven't heard anything that makes it sound like a necessary secondary
program (certainly not a replacement) for people already experienced in
flash. I might feel differently if I didn't have the several years
background, but considering some of the problems noted here, I think I would
have trouble recommending it to new users as of yet as well. Still might
easily become a nice "entry" to this kind of animation/streaming effects on
the web, and so is worth watching for that as well.

More 2 cents, I'm going to go broke soon :)
