What I usually do, to prevent the .exe from being over

1MB, is make seperate movie clips (.swf files), and

just use a LoadMovie command (into level 0)to start

them.

So MC1.swf calls MC2.swf etc.

The .exe file just set some global properties and

starts the first .swf.


I took a 30 second commercial, had to convert it to an

.avi file, than break it frame by frame (161 MB me

thinks).  I than re-animated it using changed the fps

rate etc., threw in some Flash stuff (it ended up

being a mintue long), and dumped it on a CD ROM.

I ended up with 5 .swf averaging about 320 KB eachm

(including sound), and one .exe file which is about

355KB.


Remember that when you make an .exe file you add about

350KB to the final product, and that you can NOT run

and exe from a web brouser.
