FLASH: compatibility with flash, directx7 and rage 128 card

greetings- i narrowed down the batch of bad video cards and yes indeed they

are rage 128 pro. somehow we got half nvidia cards and half rage from dell.

anyway, to upgrade to the latest rage driver as recommended at

http://www.macromedia.com/support/flash/ts/documents/atirage128.htm titled

<<Items become invisible when dragged in the Flash editor>>  i need to

upgrade to directx7 from the current 6.1a. does anyone know if this is a

problem, since it may be necessary to re-install windows to go back? we run

win98.
