Well, you're right -- looks like there is no difference. I'd just never
tried the way you were doing so I thought the problem might be that
flash wasn't interpreting the expression correctly. But I tried it just
now with a goto and stop (random(5)+5) and it went to a different frame
each time when I did a test movie. Maybe something in the frames is
causing the playhead to jump to frame 2 in your movie? Can't think of
what else could be wrong without seeing the fla.
