I've been exporting version 8 illustrator files from flash and they open
fine for me in illustrator - (love this feature because I like flash's trace
bitmap better than streamline's and we like to use the tons of clipart books
our agency had before there were all these royalty-free clipart files :) Of
course I'm only doing a few at a time.) I'm using the "export as image",
extension .ai and then the top radio button which says 88 (dunno why 88, but
it says it's an illustrator 8.0.1 document when I get info on it, which is
the version of illustrator we have.)
