FLASH: Flash to ColdFusion

Can someone give me instructions on how to pass a variable from Flash to ColdFusion. The variable will be a 'Number' and will be a simple variable that is appended to a URL. 


Ex. http://myserver.whatever?BID=21


Is there anything special I have to do in Flash besides doing the code above and what do I need to do in ColdFusion to get the variable.
