>From what I understand your problem being is that, you need to have the
playing head loop over the place where you set the x pos.

For example if at frame 10 you have "set variable "location" to get
property of instance a, _x" and on a button you have (on mouseup set the x
pos of "instance a" to "var "location" + 10)

At frame 11 you need to have a go to and play frame 10. That way the
variable will keep updating itself.

In order for this to work, the button linking to frame 10 must be goto
and play, and your images and buttons from frame 10 must also be on frame
11.


Okay I hope that helped. If someone knows a way to update the variable
without looping the movieclip like I tried to illustrate please let me know.
