You can do this with Beatnik. You cannot do it with Flash. That is, you
can't tightly synchronize several different sounds by adding them one at a
time. This has been discussed multiple times here. You certainly could have
one sound that carries the beat (e.g. drums) and add other legato sounds
such as a flute or other non-synchronized sounds. I did this in my audio
playground a couple of years ago.
