Subject: | FLASH: test swift3d media for me? |

my first work with swift3d is up on the web now. i'm here at the office on
a T1 and i'd love it someone could test it out on a 56k dial-up. if any
one would be so kind, go to fox.com and follow the signs to the "make a
mummy" interactive. then email me back directly (i'm a digester) to tell
me if it took 2 hours to load and then crashed your machine :)
a short review of swift3d:
swift performed really well on the project. it imported the .3ds models
and rendered out vector animations which we were able to edit in flash.
the program is very intuitive and my questions were answered by support
very quickly. swift is very simple and not capable of all i'd hoped in
terms of animation, but it's proving to be a useful tool and is extremely
affordable. complicated textures (glossy materials) result in very large
files sizes, but wireframes and flat shades are pretty small.
cheers,
steve
