Subject: FLASH: RE: Load Variables?

I came up with a lame solution:

Use "Get URL" instead of "Load Variables >>> Load variables into location"

Use....Get URL >>> "variables.cgi" which grabs the latest values for the
variables and writes a new html page sending the new variable to the .swf
like so...

<EMBED src=\"movie.swf?variable1=blablabla"......

Only problem with this is the horrible transition. It seems since we can
load and unload movies, the functionality should be there to reload the text
files with new values. Should I put this on the wish list? Sorry if
there's a solution I'm not aware of. Can I execute a perl script from
within a .swf and get the new values? hmmmm.
