Subject: | FLASH: DHTML, Flash, and interactivity... |

John D... if you are out there... let me know if this is possible, please!!
The clients standard browser is IE 4.0+, which means I can set the flash
plugins mode to windowless... hence it can play nice in DHTML layers. I did
this, it works fine, but even with the flash movies layer is set to the
uppermost, I can not interact with the movie, there is no way I can seem to
force "focus" on it. When I put the flash movie in there as a windowed
plugin it forces its self to the top (which I know would happen) and there
is no way to push it down again. Also, no matter what I can't seem to
reposition a layer that has Flash in it... if its windowed or windowless...
Does anybody know either a.) How to make a flash movie "focus" while in a
layer, b.) How to reposition a layer that has flash in it. If I can do
either then I can make this project work without a whole re-spec... TIA!!
