I've never seen properties being set WITHIN the duplicate command... try

this:


Duplicate Movie Clip ("/bfly", "bfly2", 10)


* note that 10 is just an arbitrary level.. anything will do really.. just

dont duplicate another movie clip onto that same level.. it'll erase the

first one.


SetProperty ("bfly2", _alpha) = 50

SetProperty ("bfly2", _xscale) = 50

SetProperty ("bfly2", _yscale) = 50

I am trying to make the second MC half the size as the first and 50%
