Subject: | FLASH: licensing question |
From: | Gregg Caines |

I've checked the Macromedia site for this, and
emailed Macromedia directly, but haven't
received any useful answer to this question, so
I hope someone here can help (especially if
he/she is from Macromedia).
I've used the Flash ActiveX component in a
program I've written.
Can anyone tell me what the rules are for
distributing this program? Can I charge my
customers for it? Can I distribute it freely with
my other software on a CD? Are there any
stipulations (must show the logo, etc.)? Would
I owe Macromedia any money in any way?
I've seen other programs that seem to use the
component, so I don't expect I'd be infringing on
any licensing, but I'd like to make sure.
Thanks in advance!
