possible solution, but this one looks better:


Go to

C:\windows\system

right-click gdi.exe and select Properties.

If the version number is 4.10.98, 4.10.098, 4.10.1998, try to upgrade to

4.10.2222 or 4.10.2222a. It sound like the upgrade to Windows SE did not

work corectly. 4.10.2222 is the version that comes with Win98SE.
