Hi Scott and all,


 There are two ways to control Movie Clips frpm buttons.


1) Drop a copy on the Button Timeline in the UP, OVER or DOWN position.


2) Create a Movie Clip and place it on the Timeline (or in another

MovieClip) then control it from a TellTarget (in a button or in a frame

action)

  Create a MovieClip place it where you want it, layer and frame.

  Place your MovieClip on the timeline and give it an instance name.

  Test it and make sure it is where you want it.

  Insert a Blankkey frame in frame 1 of the MovieClip

       Insert a stop Action in frame 1 of the MovieClip

       If you want Label that frame (I use Park as the name)

  Now when you play the Movie you will see no action from the MovieClip.


   Now set-up the button (or frame) to control it.

   Double click the button (or Modify > Instance) > Actions > plus sign

(+) > Tell Target > In 'Target:' Box on right, insert instance name of

the Movie Clip

   Then Add a Play or a Goto and Play (frame 2) inside the TellTarget.

   Go to the Release (On) line and select the button action you want.

   If you want Roll Out select it and deselect Release.
