Subject: | RE: Talking about Bandwidth-Some People Are Missing The REAL ISSUE |

"I" won't be out of work as a designer because "THANK GOD" there actually
are companies and organizations that want to utilize the advancements in
design and emphasize their artistic personnas online. I must admit, most of
my recent projects have been done for the intranet market. Here, your
bandwidth problems aren't quite as pronounced, you don't have to deal with
platform issues, and your audience is, for the most part, clearly defined.
However, I have 2 projects waiting in the wings that will be published for
the general public on the web. I am NOT a developer...I am a designer, an
artist, and I make that plain in my "self-advertisement" to generate
business. The clients who seek me out in my small area of the country are
seeking exactly what you seem to be denying that there is a market for.
I really do see valid points in your arguements but your situation does not
apply to all. If we learn anything from the commercialism of our time, we
should know that THERE IS A MARKET FOR ANYTHING.
