Hi Matt,

I hit the wmode wall myself not long ago...

Sorry to tell you, but wmode=transparent function is only supported in the
PC (not Mac) version of IE4.0.

I got it to work quite well - not much speed sacrifice (wasn't any complex
animation) and it's good to see a flash site anit-aliased over a decent
background (not that i have a problem living without bitmaps).
