Yes, it should render the other colours.

Like you say, it is very dark. Dark enough that monitor settings or
even different sensitivity in the eyes could make it appear black.
Also, other colours around it will affect the colour. Surrounding the
green square with orange, for instance, will change the colour of
green. Another possibility (that I mentioned in my last email) is the
difference in platforms. If you are creating your colour on a Mac,
Windows machines will look darker.
