It's different for Flash2 than it is for Flash3.  Which version are you using?


Flash2 is actually, IMHO, much easier in creating pop up menus, but file size

is a bit larger because you have to overlap symbols in the opening frames of

scenes.  Flash3 takes a bit more planning but it makes pop-up menus a lot more

functional and what you can do with them is almost limitless.  Open Flash3 and

check out Help>Samples>Menus-Hierarchical and Help>Samples>Menus-Track As

Menu.
