Hi all,
UI haven't seen this question posted before, but I hope someone call
explain it.
I have a presentation which consists of several files. Each level
completely overlaps the other when the next one is called up. I don't
want to unload any of them because each has an opening bit of "keep the
viewer busy effects". The problem lies in the fact that buttons in the
lower levels are active even when you are several levels above it. This
is not a bug, but how this all works. As a go around, I set up a frame
in the lower level which it automatically goes to when you go to the
next up. The "back" button sends a command to the lower file and
instructs it to go back to the "active" button frame and it also
instructs the current file to go to the that level.
This works fine except I cannot get other buttons to do it that are
several scenes in on the top most file.
I used the following in the back button. (I am at Level 1 and want
Level 0 to go to the buttons active frame(nav) and then take the viwer
to that level)
On(Press)
Begin Tell Target _level0
Go To and Stop Label=nav {this is the name assigned to the
frame with buttons}
End Tell Target
Go To and Stop _level0
End On
All this works fine for the first back button. I even copied it and
put it in the next scene and it wouldn't work.
I am perplexed
