Flash 3 download

This is a bit embarassing to admit, but I can't seem to open the Flash 3

beta.  I've downloaded it twice, installed it and then tried to open the

program.  I get a "Unhandled exception in Flash3.exe: 0xC000001D: illegal

instruction"  whenever I try to open the program.  Do you have any clues as

to why I can't get this thing to work?  I have a  P166 mHz with 64 mb RAM.

There's plenty of hard drive space available.


Another question:  In Flash 2, the Modify/Movie/Contents button won't resize

the canvas to the image when I create a symbol to make a button.  Even when

I enter the exact dimensions the canvas won't resize.  I'm obviously doing

something wrong.  Any help out there for the confused?
