Hi,

I work in Tech Support for a financial software company, and when we have a problem like this, you usually need to reboot the computer, delete Flash3 beta (just to be safe from a faulty download), download the file again, and try rebooting the computer in "Safe Mode" before you install.

To get into safe mode, select Start, Shutdown, Restart the Computer, and when the screen turns black, after shutting down, a small "Starting Windows 95" in white letters will come up. When it does, and no later - hit F8. This will get you to a menu to get into safe mode (typically choice #3). Reinstall Flash3 when you get into safe mode.

Try that.
