Subject: Re: No Action -> "inter movie clip actions"

To everyone who is having trouble using "inter movie clip actions".

If you want the action to take place inside the current movie
use Tell Target but don't specify an instance name. Not using
Tell Target will affect the main movie. If you want control over
another movie clip, give this clip an instance name (double click,
enter Instance Name, under Definition tab in Instance Properties)
>From another clip (or main movie, use Tell Target and select the
instance name of the movie you want to control before assigning
an action.

NB remember to place the action between the "Begin Tell Target"
and "End Tell Target" and remember that movie clips only play
once the scene/movie is being tested or exported and played
in the Flash Player..

This is all self taught so if anyone can see errors pleeeez tell
me. It all seems to be working fine for me so far but I wouldn't
want unexpected special effects popping up on a user's
machine due to my improper use of the cool action properties.
