WHy Can't It work?

I have downloaded Flash 3 the beta.. and I can't get it to work.. I have

a pentium 200, 64megs of ram, 33.6 modem, and a 6gig hard drive. It says

"this program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down"

I need to test this program becuase I'm considering to purchase it for

this company.  I need to test it? Any ideas?
