Thanks John, Jose
I'd managed to get it working with no problems in IE4 on PC after a little
fresh air (nothing like the smell of the country to clear the thinking
glands:) ). Somewhat agitated by the browser situation though...
Sometimes it seems we'll never escape the mercy of the browser wars - No
sooner will Netscape support ActiveX and (properly) HTML than someone'll
move the goalposts again :p
Still having trouble with IE4 on the Mac though - doesn't seem to want to
read my (or most other people's) shockwave pages, yet handles MM's no prob..
I've even set up Webstar & QuickDNSpro on the network to serve the
appropriate MIME types, but for some reason I keep getting
"application/x-unknown type" reports with the broken plug. I read somewhere
on MM's site (impossible to find again...:p) about EI on the Mac not having
correctly implemented plug-in detection....? Netscape on the same machine
works fine...
Any suggestions appreciated.
Thanks again
