pretty much.



the butterfly was rendered in motion as a quicktime movie. it looked much 

to inorganic as is, so the qt was exported as individual frames (picts). 

each frame was brought into photoshop and then manipulated. for instance, 

the part where it lands (you can go in and stop the flash movie to see 

the individual frame, btw...), to crteate the blur, i overlayed several 

frames at once. used a lot of radial, motion blur and lassoing until i 

got it the way it looks now. then saved those indivual frames as picts, 

brought them into flash and simply used flash to display them quickly and 

in the right order. in all, flash is only working as a slideshow. albeit 

a very fast one. but all the effecting was done in ps.
