Hi all!


not to put a damper on things but I'd suggest you all hold off 

on registering any of these new names with CORE.


I have been following the antics of these guys for months and

have learned one thing:


No one really knows what is going on.


There has been time after time of delays, broken promises,

etc, and I have yet to see anything happen with the situation at all.

Not only are there problems with the normal political beaurocracy,

but to top it off a couple of the name server machines (valued at

several hundred thousand a piece) were stolen a couple months

back by someone they claimed to have been from the 'inside'.


The internet is a confusing place.  Unfortunately, the governing

and issuing of new formats, names, protocols, etc is equally as 

bad.


Good luck on the final date that the extra name extensions will

be available.  I for one am not holding my breath.
