Actions and Movie clips?

Hiya Flashers,


Does anyone know if its possible to apply action commands like "stop"

inside a movie clip.


Im creating an animated movie and once the button is touched I want

it to animate and then stop. 

I tried adding a "stop" action keyframe in the movie clip of the

animated state, but it doesnt seem to work.


How do I get the animated button to play a movie clip in its "over"

state only once.


Of course any helpful info is most appreciated.
