Oh Boy.

Somethin' even in the Bible about Christ telling his disciples that
if they go to a town and the people there can't "really hear" (my
quotes, not JC's) them, then they are specifically instructed to
immediately shake the dust offa their sandals and go move on to the
next town *pronto*.

Cool, huh? :-)

I gotta word for ya: Curmudgeon.

Actually since you asked I have a hunch that Linux will beat the *ss
offa Windows in some short amount of time. The same folks who publish
MacAddict and Business 2.0 (both very hot mags in case ya haven't
checked 'em out) have started publishing a Linux mag that looks just
as hot.

Between that and Apple's/Steve's decision to base System X on
Unix/Linux convinces me that Bill oughta consider divesting himself
of his shares in the future "division" that will still be tryin' to
turn Windows into something "admirable" instead layers upon layers
upon layers of mediocre code.
