Subject: | FLASH: tweening alpha value |

Hi all,
I have a stupid problem and I don't know why it went wrong, so I have to
resort to you guys.
I want to make some texts appear & disappear against a photo background, so
I think I have to use alpha to make them appear/disappear. problem comes in
when I made the text I typed into symbols, created 4 key frames with the
instances in them at desired positions, motion-tweened the instances, and
test-movie gave me merely moving text instead of moving &
appearing/disappearing text! I have no idea why it wouldn't work the way I
wanted it to work...
can someone tell me what possibly is the problem here? alternatively a
step-by-step instruction list would help greatly too... I think there might
be some procedural things I did wrong... but I tried e.g. highlighting all
the keyframes & all the frames in between and tweening, clicking on a frame
in between two keyframes and tweening, using the same symbol (i.e. not
dragging new instances out of the library) for all of the key frames as
opposed to dragging new ones out each time... amd none of them worked =(.
I appreciate your help.
nini
