Can someone please explain this snip to me . . .
<snip>
July 12, 2000
"At a keynote this morning, Microsoft Chairman and Chief Software Architect
Bill Gates demonstrated new functionality in Internet Explorer 5.5 that for
the first time enables developers to manipulate rich media Macromedia Flash
components on a Web page using custom Extensible Markup Language (XML) tags.
This integration enables developers who are not familiar with the Macromedia
Flash authoring environment to easily design pages and applications that
have rich Macromedia Flash interfaces and dynamically update based on user
interaction."
</snip>
Just how does IE 5.5 enable developers who are not familiar with the
Macromedia Flash authoring environment to easily design pages and
applications that have rich Macromedia Flash interfaces and dynamically
update based on user interaction.
Is it magic or something?
I *am* familiar with the Macromedia Flash authoring environment and still
can't *easily* design pages and applications that have rich Macromedia Flash
interfaces and dynamically update based on user interaction.
So how does IE 5.5 do this?
Because I want to *easily* design pages and applications that have rich
Macromedia Flash interfaces and dynamically update based on user
interaction.
Thanks for any help . . .
