Subject: FLASH: Not sure whats going on
From: Echo

first off, i posted this Q last night, but i never saw the mail, or any
responses to the mail i sent yesterday, and since i have more info, i will
restate the Q and hope it goes through now.

i am experiencing an odd problem. i am making a flash application, that uses
as one of the many elements, a radio button, there are currently 5 instences
of this MC in the movie, and all is working well. then i add # 6 and the
movie stops functioning all together. i remove the clip, and replace it with
one that has no instence name which in truth should do nothing at all, since
the MC does nothing anyway, except through tell targeting. again the movie
will not function at all, untill i remove that MC... i add a different MC,
no problem, so i make a new MC very much like the one that is having
problems. again no problem, UNTILL i add the stop action to frame one of the
MC in question. now the movie will not work at all again... in fact, any
time i add any MC to the app that has a stop action in frame 1 the entire
movie stops working... even if there is nothing pointing to that MC and that
MC has nothing telling the movie to stop.??

i am assuming that my application is corrupted, and am going to start over
(which is ok, because it was getting messy anyway, and this will give me a
chance to refine my code, which is a good thing :o) has anyone ever had
thier fla file corrupt with compleatly unExpected resultz like this?

Echo
