Subject: FLASH: problems with flash and netscape

hello all...here is a question regarding flash and netscape... and the
frustrations of viewing files localy and on the web.

ok...here we go

1. we are currently developing a site that has a page (as the default)
that has a 18x18 swf file that calls up a GetURL to a specific page that
is all flash. otherwise, we have a meta-tag that does a 2 second count and
then takes you to a page where you can get further information about
installing flash into your system...pretty simple so far.

2. Everything works great on IE...both localy and on our web server.
Netscape, however, is having a problem detecting this 18x18 file from the
web, and goes directly to the flash install page. but it works great on
the local network. Also, when we view the main Flash portion of the site
directly (where the broswer is suppose to take you if you have the flash
pluging) by dragging that particular file to the browser it works fine. the
problem is with netscape detecting this little 18x18 swf file that is
suppose to perform a GetURL. it works on the local network...but its not
loading on the web

3. Items we have checked
-checked the cache
-checked all links to make sure they dont call up any specific
directories related to the local machines
-tried viewing this page with various embed paramaters...and even no
paramaters at all (just an object tag)

any clues or suggestions?
