FLASH: Urgent help needed...

Hi Specialists,

i�m pretty newbie for flash, just started my first bigger project with

f3 (after crashin with the f4trial  :-(

Now i urgently need to finish this layout for a customer, who�s already

waiting....took me so loong to get it there.


Ok., here�s what it is:

i�ve created a complete site-navigation (several moving text/buttons).

I first started with ONE movie, ending up (like in director) with about

12 scenes, realizing that the filesize is way too big (420k).

So for that reason and to have something like an Intro first, i�ve

seperated the big main movie into 8 different pieces 

(start.swf, menu.swf, theme1.swf, aso...). 

The start.swf is a preLoader which just loads the complete library and

menu.swf into level 1.


Now im calling the other movies from each button with:

on release

LoadMovie "Name of movie"

level 1

end release


This works, but (apearently this is my mistake?) when another movie gets

loaded there�s a short flickering "struggle" before the new movie appeares.

(So i guess when i do that its just "kickin" out the first movie for the second?)

I�ve tried to load into different levels though (e.g. menu.swf into 1, 

theme1.swf into 2,  a.s.o.) but then when im trying to load from an

upper level 

to down (lets say from level 5 back into level 2) just the old level stays

where it is (i can hear the sound of the new level in the backround but, 

nothing changes in front).


I understood so far that the "levels" are similar to what there is in

dhtml "layers" or "div-containers".

But how can i bring levels upfront to be seen??? 

(in dhtml with z-index but theres nothing like that in flash, eh?)

Or is my way of thinking completely wrong and i should have done 

the solution for this differently?


Please help, if possible, i need to get ready asap...

and i�m really bangin� my head with this.
