Hi all.


InterNIC Registration at Network Solutioms http://rs.internic.net/ has

been slow since about Christmas with some registrations submitted then

just coming through in the last couple of weeks. Others registrations

have been faster (also directly through Network Solutions). Apparently

us peons have to wait long periods of time while Network Solutions

caters to its Premier and Alliance customers that they provide 1 day

service for registrations.

Thank God we are on the road to competion in Domain Registration:

OK partial competition.


Note, if you pay  more than $70.00 (for 2 yrs.) to register a com, net

or org domain then you are paying someone else to fill out the form and

may or may not be getting faster service.


Also note the changes at http://www.internic.com/ which used to disguise

itself as the InterNic and charge higher prices to those poor souls that

stumbled there and were easily mislead. Lawyers do accomplish some good

after all.
