Huh? Maybe for some "Mom and Pop" shop selling sandwiches.
Not in the professional traditional print or advertising industry.
On the internet? It doesnt take a whole to see that even some large corporations
arent up to date
on how important their image needs to be on the internet or even the opportunities

to reach potiential customers. How many corporations hire ad agencies to carry
their online
campaigns? very few. Why? They leave that up to their technical depts who rarely
have any graphic design
people simply due to the fact that graphics dont direct the internet. Technologies
like Flash are changing that.
Before you take anymore of my statements out of context, understand that Im
talking about "Jacks" in "this" industry.
Look at the advertising industry as a whole. The professional print industry does
not hire someone that can work the press,
do the layout, sell the ads, sweep the floor, manage the enterprise etc. Even
though the drummer of the band might know a
little guitar doesnt mean he wont be playing the drums when they go onstage for
the masses. Professional agencies hire individuals who specialize in their fields
to give a professional and quality service. Were have you been?
Let me guess, on the net.

Yes a little of everything, but not a whole lot of anything.

not at all, just because you can open up flash or type "10 = input"
doesnt mean you can take a company's identity to the next level or
successfully run a quality online or offline advertising campaign.
Again I am not saying, and Ive never stated that "Jacks" are morons or an
underclass of people.
In some cases a general overall knowledge of something is a great thing.

Absolutely.

Again taking someone's statements outa context and drawing your final word upon
it?
Smooth. Human, though. I see no contradictions in my previous posts.
Ill be the first to post any inadequacies after re-reading my posts if I think Im
mistaken
and ask God's forgiveness from the list. =8>)-
My re-post was mearly focusing the lens and trying to be a little more specific
about
the "jacks vs. masters" in "this" industry.

Absolutely

Absolutely.

You make it sound like masters become masters for some type of credit or reward
which draws me to understand why you and a large part of society in general would
still converse on this topic.

A true "Master" of trade perfects his practice because of passion and loyalty to
the cause, not for some trophy or a pat on the back.

Internet broadcasts with technologies like Flash are like "Walt Disney" in his
garage
drawing "Steamboat Willie", setting up the frames, filming, selling and
distributing.

It will change. It already is.

You do? Smooth.

Take care,
