IMHO,
First, the site was designed for 800X600 pixel resolution screen. at
640X480 the scroll bars (especially the horizontal ones) are distracting.
I just wonder how many people have strayed from the industry standard of
640X480? I cant help but think it looks unprofessional. If I try to be
more specific about why I think 800 by 600 looks unprofessional, I know
that it is a relational problem - the 800 by 600 sites as compared to, or
when viewed during surfing 'between' 640 by 480 sites, look unprofessional.
Other than that criticism, I do not think your flashed version really looks
essential - in other words, the rollovers would look the same in
javascript, and besides a few text treatments there is no reason to have
the flashed site.
I like the non-flash version better than the new version myself.
